Lindsay is Deputy Editor of The Detail.

She started her career in journalism as a trainee reporter in the Down Recorder before moving to The Mourne Observer in 1995. Since then she has worked as a reporter for the News Letter, Sunday People and Irish Daily Mirror. She has also been news editor of the Daily Mirror (NI) and Ireland on Sunday and editor of LCN. More recently she was business editor and education correspondent at the Belfast Telegraph. Lindsay was shortlisted in the Digital Journalist of the Year and Scoop of the Year categories at the CIPR NI Media Awards 2016.

Previously Brexit Correspondent and a reporter on the Detail Data team from 2015 to 2018, Lindsay was appointed Deputy Editor in August 2018.
